...A NEW RECIPE HAS APPEARED?!

    Let’s start this off by saying: it’s been quite a while and I hope you’re all doing well! A few years back we began theNot-So-Discontinued Series so that everyone could still have the classics they love, even after the hard decisions made during the 8/8 debacle. Since the start of the series we’ve released Commodore Pearry, PB Cereal, and Canary Coulis to you guys. I hope those recipes provided some insight into the process of developing a recipe, and I hope you all have taken the recipes and added your own personal twist to them! Today, however, is a special day! Today is the day we release some of our most requested recipes.

    Before we begin, though, for those of you new to the DIY scene, there’s an abbreviation before every flavor. That abbreviation is the manufacturer of the flavor and, believe it or not, Flavor West’s raspberry can bemuch different than, for example, Capella’s raspberry! FW means Flavor West, CAP means Capella, and TPA refers to The Perfumer’s Apprentice. TPA can also be abbreviated as TFA, as they also go by The Flavor Apprentice.

The Charlie Noble Yogurt Line

    As an old personal favorite  of mine, the yogurt line holds a special place in my heart. You all might remember their distinct sample pack in the yogurt tub, their subtle sweetness, and unique flavor profiles. Without further adieu, let’s begin with…

Fruit on the Bottom

    This recipe is fairly straightforward, with a few twists here and there. The Lemon Sicily and Orange Cream are added to give the e-liquid a citrus-y tanginess that we all know and love. The yogurt is there to, well, be yogurt! FW Yogurt was the best I’ve found for a solid, creamy yogurt, without too much sweetness or too much of a “greek yogurt taste.” The Cherry Blossom, Natural Raspberry, and Strawberry (Ripe) give you that feeling of getting a nice big piece of fruit mixed in with that yogurt because, let’s be honest, the fruit on the bottom is the best part! Then we have the Sugar Cookie and Cotton Candy coming in to back up the sweetness of the fruits against the heavy citrus overtones in there as well! Once it’s all mixed together, with it’s nice pink-ish hue,  these flavors all come together beautifully to create an extremely pleasing flavor!

Chocolate Mousse

    Always attempted, rarely successful, the infamouschocolate flavor profile. I, personally, have a love/hate relationship with chocolates. When they’re done right, they’re amazing! But it’s so easy to go too heavy with chocolate, or to have that artificial chocolate taste. At the time of this recipe's development, CAP Double Chocolate V2 was the best we could find that hit the nail right on the head in this recipe! However, Double Chocolate V2 alone isn’t enough to give it that “true chocolate” taste we were aiming for. That’s where the Toasted Almond, Graham Cracker (Clear), French Vanilla V2, and Acetyl Pyrazine come in. They all add different aspects to that feeling of an actual chocolate bar, without hitting close to just something chocolate-flavored. The Yogurt is added at such a high percentage to compete with the chocolates, so it doesn’t disappear after steeping. If we could reformulate  with the flavorings available now, I’d definitely play around with some INW Milk Chocolate or FLV Milk Chocolate. Huge shout out to FLV and INW, they’re killing the flavor game lately.

Smoked Yogurt

    Don’t be intimidated by the complexity or number of flavors in this one, it’s a doozy! In all seriousness, this was probably the most questioned flavor out of this line. Yogurt? RY4? What were we thinking? Personally, I love a good tobacco. I always have at least one tank or pod filled up with some kind of tobacco for when I sit down with a cup of coffee in the morning, or when I’m enjoying a nice night of movies with the wife. RY4 Double was at the time, and still in its own right, the best RY4 flavor on the market. FW Yogurt comes in with the RY4 and adds that unique creaminess that can’t be found in most other flavors. This is a divisive flavor, you’ll love it or you’ll hate it. Personally, I love it. And I hope the other tobacco lovers out there love it, too.
